Welcome!

The humble beginings for this game development academy began as a dream with much more magnificent grandeure.  Our dream was to create a castle where students could immerse themselves in creative imagination and learn to use their gifts and talents to create amazing games. Funding and economic hurdles prohibited such a venture, so our volunteer development team continued work on our own games.  We finished Chariots and we’re back to working on Visions again. And once again, we find ourselves teaching new developers as much as we are developing. And many more come to us wanting instruction, but not wanting to work on our game projects in exchange.  Our time is limited and we’re unable to personally tutor everyone who has questions, but we have devised this opportunity to answer the most common questions, and help new developers get started on this mysterious and challenging journey.  Welcome to the Heaven’s Blessings Tiny Zoo Academy!

The goal for this space is to create an opportunity for curious individuals to benefit from the years of experience of Independant Game Developers.  As we have time, we will produce video tutorials which will then be made available to students as a pay-per-lesson on demand type system.

And as a the saying goes, a man’s home is his castle. So ultimately, perhaps we did achieve some fraction of our original dream to provide game development classes in a castle environment – in the comfort of each person’s own home! Learn how to make games on your own time in your own home.
